The Amsterdam Open 2020 has been cancelled.

On March 23rd, the Dutch government announced new measures to stop the spread of COVID-19. These measures include a ban on all permit-bound events until June 1st. As a result, the Amsterdam Open cannot take place on the original dates of May 23rd and 24th. The organisation does not see opportunities to reschedule the event to a later date in the 2020 season. The 2020 edition of the Amsterdam Open is therefore officially CANCELLED.

Like you, we are disappointed by the cancellation, but we believe it’s the right thing to do in order to contain the coronavirus. In case you’d like to read more about the statement of the Dutch government, please consult:

The Amsterdam Open organisation wants to stress that all participants will receive a full refund of the entry fees.

We are sorry for the inconvenience and truly hope to see you next year.
